St. Petersburg, simply known as “St. Pete,” is the fourth largest city in Florida, United States. The city´s supposed average of 360 days of sunshine every year makes it a well-known vacation spot for tourists coming not only from North America but also Europe. The year-round sunny, warm climate in St. Petersburg has earned it its nickname “The Sunshine City.”

One of the most frequented tourist attractions in the city is the St. Petersburg Pier, which contains a small aquarium that is open for public viewing. A slew of retail shops, adventure activities, restaurants, and boat rides are being offered at The Pier as well. The replica of HMS Bounty that was used in the movie starring Marlon Brando, as well as in the Pirates of the Caribbean, can also be found at the said pier.

The city has a lot more local attractions to offer visitors such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Holocaust Museum, Boyd Hill Nature Park, Mahaffey Theater complex, Baywalk, Central Avenue, Grand Central, Old Northeast, Roser Park, Sunken Gardens and Gandy Boulevard.
