The fifth largest city with a population of 2,045,322, Orlando was a formerly a town of farmlands and orange groves as far away as your eyes could see. Its two attractions used to be a display of extra large alligators and a water-ski show. It was the establishment of Walt Disney´s theme parks in Orlando which caused this city to have a diversified economic boom and was never the same again. Since its Disney World opening in 1971, Orlando has become one of the world´s top destinations for vacations.

It is also home to the University of Central Florida which is one of the largest universities in the nation. About forty-nine million people make their way to Orlando each year in order to experience the diversity and excitement Orlando has to offer. Central Florida Research is the seventh largest research park in the country and home to 120 companies employs more than 8,500 people making it front and central to the nation´s training and military simulation programs.
