Dubbed as “The Gateway to the West”, Omaha, a city in Nebraska, is home to the Lone Tree Ferry which became the basis of its nickname. The city is located along Carter Lake, a lake formed from the Missouri River following a massive flooding.
Important landmarks and attractions in Omaha include the One First National Center which is the tallest building in the city, the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, Riverfront Place, the Joslyn Castle, Christian Specht Building and Saint Cecilia Cathedral.
