Ibiza is an island off the Meditarranean coast of the city of Valencia, Spain. It is an autonomous community and is the third largest of the all the Balearic Islands. The island is a popular summer destination and is known for its summer club parties that attract tourists, both local and international. Clubs of note in Ibiza include Pancha, Space, Privilege, Es Paradis, Amnesia DC10, and Café del Mar.
The island has an estimated population of over 110,000. Ibiza Town is the largest city and other large cities include Sant Antoni de Portmany and Santa Eularia des Riu. Catalan and Spanish are the official languages in the island. Locals, however, are familiar with English, Russian, German, and other languages.
Aside from its party scene, Ibiza is also noted for being having areas that have been registered as world heritage sites. An example of such a site is ‘God´s Finger’, located in the Benirras Bay. Top tourist spots in Eivissa include the Cala de sa Gallera and the Es Canar Beach.
