Edmonton City, the capital of the Alberta Province in Canada, sits on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. This city, which is one of Canada´s sunniest cities, is the country´s sixth largest metropolitan area and also serves as a major national cultural, educational and governmental hub.

The city also has its own share of nature and wildlife. It has a number of parks, among which includes the North Saskatchewan River Parks, a large area composed of smaller parks which has a number of jogging, hiking and cycling paths.
