Daytona Beach is a city located in Florida. According to history, the city once had a beach that had hard-packed sand that allowed motorized vehicles to drive on the beach, even on restricted areas. The sand made Daytona Beach a haven for those who enjoyed motorsports and eventually, race tracks were constructed to cater to motorsports enthusiasts.

Although it can be said that the yearly festivities that revolve around motorsports is the main reason why a lot of people are drawn to the city, Daytona Beach also has a number of tourist attractions that add to its features and history.
