About Columbus Flights

Columbus is the capital of Ohio and is the county seat of the Franklin County. The city is known for being The Discovery City, The Arch City, and the C-Bus. It was named after the notable explorer Christopher Columbus and was founded in 1812. It was not until 1816 that the city became the state capital.

These days, Columbus is a city well known for its diverse systems and economy based on energy, logistics, fashion, banking, aviation, retail, and technology, among others. Other attractions include the Franklin Park Conservatory, Columbus Museum of Art, Jerome Schottenstein Center, Wexner Center for the Arts, and Kelton House Museum and Garden.

Port Columbus International Airport (CMH)

Port Columbus International Airport (CMH) is located 7 miles northeast of Columbus.

To/From the Airport: Port Columbus´ Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) operates buses between the airport and the city. The airport is served by eight on-site car rental companies with check-in counters located on the ground floor of the parking area. Metered taxis are available in the ground transportation area. Scheduled/walk-up shuttles leave the airport for the city every 20 minutes.
