About Cleveland Flights

Cleveland is a city located in the US state of Ohio; it is the county seat of the most populous county in the state, Cuyahoga County. It is often called as "The Forest City", "The Sixth City", "The Rock n´ Roll Capital of the World", "The Cleve", and "C-Town". It has the motto of "Progress and Prosperity".

The city was named as "Cleaveland" after General Moses Cleaveland who was the leader of the surveyors who created the layout of the Western Reserve of Connecticut. Once founded near the mouth of the river Cuyahoga, it grew from a manufacturing center to a city with economic diversity.

Like its economy, Cleveland has a diverse architecture. Public buildings and structures could be found grouped together as a result of the Group Plan while various streets have blossomed into various groups including Euclid Avenue, known for being the "Millionaire´s Row" and was once described to be the "most beautiful street in the world".

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE)

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) is located 10 miles southwest of Cleveland.

To/From the Airport: The airport is served by the rapid metro train service of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA). It leaves every 15 minutes to the city and connects to regional buses and rail services. Some hotels offer courtesy shuttle services to guests. The Lorain County Transit (LCT) provides bus service between the airport and Elyria and Oberlin, Ohio. Taxis are available on the south end Baggage Claim Level. The airport has a consolidated rental car facility, which is situated off the airport grounds. Twenty-six limousine companies offer VIP chauffeured transportation between the airport and any point in the region.
