Cincinnati is a city in Ohio; it is the state of Ohio´s third most populous city and is the county seat of Hamilton County. It is the first boomtown in America not located in the coast – that is, in the heart of the country. Because of this, the city is often thought of as "pure American" in that it did not have outside influence from Europeans.

The city was first named as Losantiville (from French, Greek, Latin, and English languages) which means "the city opposite the mouth of the Licking River". Founded in 1788 by both Colonel Robert Patterson and John Cleves Symmes, the city has a rich historical and cultural bearing. Still, it is a major economic center and is home to large multinational corporations.

Attractions in Cincinnati include the parks Fountain Square, Avon Woods, Miles Edwards Park, Mt. Storm Park, Owl´s Nest Park, Krohn Conservatory, My Fountain Square, Wolff Planetarium, and structures such as the Daniel Carter Beard Bridge.
