When people talk about Texas, one of the most common cities that come to mind is Austin. Not only is Austin the capital of Texas, it is also on the county seat of Travis County. It is located smack center of Texas, and just on the eastern edge of Southwest America. It is known as the fourth-largest city Texas has, and has landed on the 15th spot of the largest cities that the United States has. Currently, it has been noted as one of the fastest growing cities in the country, especially from 2000 to 2006.

The city has a number of museums as well as parks and other sights and sounds. Anybody visiting the place will surely enjoy their time, what with the recreation departments that have received a number of awards from the National Recreation and Park Association. Other activities that tourists and locals enjoy in Austin include, kayaking, exploring, rock climbing, and swimming.
