Auckland is a city that covers Auckland Isthmus and is found in the North Island of New Zealand. According to Mercer´s annual survey for 2009, Auckland is the fourth best place to live in the whole world. Since the term “Auckland” is ambiguous as it may pertain to the broader region, the proper term for the city is “Auckland City” or “Central Auckland.”
The city boasts of its many breathtaking sceneries, gorgeous beaches and outstanding food and beverages. These are some of the reasons why many people flock to the city for a vacation or for permanent residency. Although the city has a relatively relaxed atmosphere, it does not fall far from the many advancements of technology all the while maintaining its culture and heritage.
Some of the attractions found in Auckland City include the Kelly Tarlton´s Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World, Auckland Museum, Auckland Botanic Gardens, Auckland Gardens, Auckland Domain, Auckland Multipass, Brick Bay Scultpure Trail, Butterfly Creek, Bastion Point, Classic Comedy & Bar, Clevedon Animal Farm, Awaroa Walkway, Ayrlies, and many more.
