Where to Find Hotel Information

Posted October 01,2009 by Victor Fox
It is often necessary to find information about a hotel, especially when choosing the right accommodations for a vacation or a business trip. Here are some of the best places to find useful hotel information:
  • The Hotel´s Official Website
  • Travel Agencies/Websites
  • Online Encyclopedias
Most hotels have their own website. These websites often contain information about the hotel, its star rating, rates, check in and check out times, facilities, location, and more. Hotels may also be reached for information via phone or by visiting them directly.

Travel agencies and travel websites often stock information on hotels that their clients may choose to stay in. Some sites have comprehensive info on hotels. Most also have pictures that allow clients to take a peak at the hotel´s facilities.

Online Encyclopedias are also a good resource for finding about hotels. Online encyclopedias, however, do not cover every hotel in the world. Some may also have little or wrong information about certain hotels.
