Planning Your Vacation Itinerary

Posted October 02,2009 by Elle McNamara
A well planed and fun packed itinerary can make for a most memorable vacation. Here are some tips to help you when planning your vacation itinerary.
  • Do your research – Find out as much as you can about your destination
  • Book some activities in advance – Deep sea fishing, country hikes, and the likes can be booked in advanced. This way, you won´t have to worry about being told that you can not participate in an activity because it´s fully booked.
  • Consider what you and your vacation buddies like – Take into consideration what the other people in your group like (i.e. shopping, biking, museum visits)
  • Do something cultural – This is especially ideal when you are visiting a foreign country. Try to experience as much of the culture as you can. Even if you are not travelling abroad, there is always bound to be local fare and traditions that you can enjoy.
When travelling abroad or to a different time zone, it is advisable to make allowances for jet lag. A day or two of sleeping in is often enough.
