Choosing the Best Hotel

Posted October 05,2009 by Elle McNamara
Hotel choice can make or break a vacation or a business trip. The hotels serve as a second home when you are on the road. When the wrong one is picked, it ruins an entire trip or can even spell disaster. Here are some things to consider when choosing a hotel:
  • Price – This is perhaps one of the most important things to consider when choosing hotel. It is important to not only find a good hotel, but also one that is within your price range.
  • Proximity to Business Center, Resort, or Airport – As much as possible, it is ideal to choose a hotel closest to the area you will be spending the most time in or to the airport.
  • Overall Facilities – This includes dining options, room facilities (i.e. bath, bed, mini kitchen), parking, airport shuttle, disabled access, and more.
Business Facilities – Whether you are taking the trip for business or pleasure, it is important to choose a hotel with good business facilities such as internet connection, Forex, accessible phones, etc.
