Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) is located 10 miles south of Baltimore and 31 miles north of Washington DC.
To/From the Airport: The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) provides Light Rail Service to and from the airport. The nearby AMTRAK and MARC Train also offer rail service with free shuttles serving the airport terminal. Several operators–Howard Transit, Annapolis Transit and WMATA–have buses plying many routes connecting the airport and the Baltimore central business district and nearby areas. Getting to and from the airport can also be done via the Airport, SuperShuttle and BayRunner shuttles. Taxis, car rentals, limousines and sedans are also available upon request.
