ACAPULCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ACA) , also named General Juan N Alvarez international Airport, sits just 16 miles southeast of Acapulco.

To/From the Airport: Aside from going to the airport on private transportation, an airport minibus service goes to the city center on regular trips and accommodates drop-off requests. Taxis are also avaible on the ARRIVALS section of the airport. A taxi trip to the beach hotels costs as much as $20. Car rentals and bus and shuttle services are also available at the airport.

Features: The airport has shops and bars, restaurants, food kiosks, tourist information, travel offices, banking facilities and disabled facilities for the convenience of the passengers. Preparations for the disabled are available when requested for in advance.
